Habitat
Highlighting the magic, beauty and diversity of life amongst our local coastal dune systems, this lino print is a celebration of the yellow-tailed black cockatoo and the places it relies on for habitat.
This linocut took 49 hours to illustrate and carve, and was an absolute labour of love. Each print takes about an hour to prepare the paper and hand press.
‘Habitat’ won First Prize in the 2023 Biodiversity of the Sunshine Coast exhibition and art competition.
Due to the limited space in my studio I can only hand print a small number of these large prints at once. Each print will be lovingly prepared once your payment has been received, and will take around 10 days to dry. It will then be packaged and shipped to you.
I will be in touch with you each step of the way to keep you informed on the progress of your artwork.
